sensilla

Sensilla draws its inspiration from the delicate, often invisible wonders of nature.
In entomology, sensilla are minute sensory organs on insects and other arthropods, attuned to their environment with incredible sensitivity. These tiny, intricate structures symbolize the profound yet unseen connections that all creatures share in the web of life.
This short piece focuses on the aesthetic dimension of the insect world: its visual richness, elegance, and dynamism.
From segmented bodies and exoskeletal textures to bursts of vibrant movement and antennae-like sensitivity, these qualities are translated into a playful, physically expressive language. The stage becomes an imaginary living terrarium—a self-contained microcosm where movement, memory, and transformation unfold in continuous interplay.
